Things I pay attention to outside of work.

01 / MUSIC

Music is one of the main ways I reset. I listen to all sorts of genres, my favorites are rock, jazz, and rnb. What interests me the most about these are the way the instruments/beats work together. I can appreciate big-band jazz but I tend to prefer trio's and quartets, the way everyone bounces off of each other is always exciting to me.

I watch movies and some anime in my downtime, mostly because I love seeing how different directors visually display stories. I am largely drawn to anime's that require a lot of world building and have well thought out power-scaling. I also enjoy when movies pair colors and soundtracks to scenes accordingly, it ties it all together.

I enjoy working on cars because it’s satisfying to fix a real mechanical problem and actually feel the difference afterward. When a part gets replaced, a problem gets diagnosed, or the car drives better than it did before, that feedback is immediate. I love that. There’s something rewarding about making something run, handle, or respond the way it should.

At one of the first car meets I attended in Washington State, this car was covered in rain and I thought it was the most sleek looking vehicle I had ever seen

I went to a porsche meet and among all the copy and paste newer models, someone rolled up in this and instantly stole my attention away from the rest of the porsche's
